Adult Health Program
The Adult Health Program is committed to maintaining and improving the health of people 21 years of age and older through prevention and education. This program offers a complete physical examination and detailed health history along with blood pressure, weight, height, blood work, urinalysis, and hemoccult screening tests based on the individual’s risk factors, signs, or symptoms.
Clients are provided with educational information pertaining to their concerns and, if needed, referrals are made for further follow-up and treatment.
Health Promotion
Services are provided for individuals, schools, community organizations and clients within Clay County. Educators promote healthful lifestyles and social and physical environments that support healthful living. Various activities are sponsored from time to time as well as by public request.

Clay County Health Department laboratory is CLIA certified. This certification ensures quality lab testing services. Clay County Health Department offers a wide variety of laboratory services that are both convenient and affordable. Certain tests are available without a doctor’s orders.
